Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup (120g) creamy peanut butter (natural, unsweetened)
1/2 cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
Optional: chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a 15×15 cm (7×7 inch) brownie pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until completely smooth.
3. Add the peanut butter and stir until well combined.
4. Sift in the cocoa powder and stir until fully incorporated.
5. Fold in any optional add-ins if using.
6. Transfer the batter to the lined pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake for 22–30 minutes, or until edges are set and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
8. Cool completely at room temperature before slicing into 9 pieces.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
Avoid overbaking to keep brownies moist and fudgy.
Store in airtight container at room temp (3 days), refrigerate (5 days), or freeze (3 months).
