Description
Juicy, quick, and foolproof air fryer chicken breasts made with simple pantry spices. Perfect for meal prep or a cozy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, and black pepper to form a paste.
2. Rub the paste all over the chicken breasts to coat them evenly.
3. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
4. Cook at 370°F for 10 minutes.
5. Flip the chicken and cook another 4 to 8 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
6. Remove and tent loosely with foil. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use Diamond Crystal kosher salt for best flavor with less sodium.
Letting the chicken rest ensures juicy results.
No need to brine, but it’s an option if you prefer extra tenderness.
Add vegetables halfway through for a complete meal.
If chicken is undercooked, return to air fryer for 2–3 more minutes.
