Description
Crisp, fruity, and lightly spiced, this sparkling Autumn Punch mixes apple cider, cranberry, citrus, and warm spices for an easy Thanksgiving crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
3 cinnamon sticks
5 allspice berries
3 whole cloves
3 cups apple cider
2 cups cranberry juice
2 cups orange juice
1½ cups pomegranate juice
1½ cups pineapple juice
2 cups lemon-lime soda
1 orange, sliced (garnish)
1 cup cranberries (garnish)
Instructions
1. In a large punch bowl, combine cinnamon sticks, allspice berries, cloves, apple cider, cranberry juice, orange juice, pomegranate juice, and pineapple juice.
2. Chill if desired. For more pronounced spice flavor, refrigerate the juice and spice mixture for 2 hours.
3. Just before serving, add lemon-lime soda along with orange slices and cranberries.
4. Serve over ice using a ladle.
Notes
Use fresh or local apple cider for better flavor.
Chill all ingredients in advance to keep the punch cold.
Garnishes like cinnamon sticks, orange slices, and cranberries enhance the festive look.
If making ahead, add soda just before serving to preserve carbonation.
Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container but may lose fizz over time.
Rum can be added for an alcoholic variation.
Any lemon-lime soda such as Sprite, 7 Up, or Sierra Mist works; ginger ale is also an option.
