Creamy banana pudding with silky vanilla layers, fresh banana slices, and soft vanilla wafers. Easy no bake dessert that chills into a crowd pleasing classic.


Ingredients

1 box instant vanilla pudding mix 5 oz

2 cups whole milk

1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tub whipped topping 8 oz thawed and divided

4 large bananas

1 box vanilla wafers 12 oz


Instructions

1. Whisk pudding mix milk condensed milk and vanilla extract until smooth

2. Cover and chill for 30 minutes

3. Fold in half the whipped topping

4. Slice bananas into 1/2 inch pieces

5. In a trifle dish layer wafers bananas and one third of the pudding mixture

6. Repeat for three layers ending with pudding

7. Chill at least 2 hours

8. Before serving top with remaining whipped topping banana slices and wafers

Notes

Slice bananas right before using to avoid browning

Wait to add whipped topping until serving so it stays fluffy

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days best within 2 days

Can be frozen for up to 2 months and thawed in the fridge overnight

Stir before serving add a little milk if too thick

Cream cheese can be blended in for extra richness
