Description
Hearty, cheesy Cowboy Breakfast Sliders packed with eggs, sausage, and bacon on buttery Hawaiian rolls. Easy to prep and perfect for cozy mornings.
Ingredients
6 large eggs, scrambled
8 ounces ground pork sausage, cooked and crumbled
6 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled (about 1 cup)
1 cup (113 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 package (12-count) King’s Hawaiian Rolls
1 recipe cowboy butter, melted, divided
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly spray a 7×11-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
2. Split the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
3. Pour about 2 tablespoons of melted cowboy butter over the bottom halves.
4. Layer scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and shredded cheese evenly over the rolls.
5. Place the top halves of the rolls on top, then brush with 2 tablespoons of melted cowboy butter.
6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes until cheese is hot and bubbly.
7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 3–5 minutes until tops are golden brown.
8. Remove from oven, slice, and serve with remaining cowboy butter brushed on top or as dip.
Notes
Let sliders cool completely before storing.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
To reheat, warm in oven at 350°F for 8–10 minutes or microwave for 30–40 seconds.
To freeze, assemble and wrap tightly before baking. Thaw in fridge and bake as directed.
Substitute sausage with ground turkey or chicken. Use egg whites if preferred.
Use any melty cheese like pepper jack or Swiss. Cowboy butter is recommended for best flavor.
