Description
These Thanksgiving cranberry cream cheese crescent bites bake golden and gooey in minutes. Buttery, tangy, and festive, they are perfect for holiday platters, brunch, or quick snacks.
Ingredients
1 can crescent roll dough 8 count
4 oz cream cheese softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
Optional chopped pecans or orange zest
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease or line a mini muffin tin.
2. Mix cream cheese powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
3. Cut crescent roll triangles in half and press into muffin cups.
4. Fill each cup with 1 tsp cream cheese mixture and 1 tsp cranberry sauce.
5. Add nuts or zest if desired.
6. Bake 11 to 13 minutes until golden then cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Best made with whole berry cranberry sauce for texture.
Do not overfill to avoid soggy bottoms.
Cool slightly before eating as the filling gets very hot.
