Ingredients
500 ml (2 cups) water
2 tablespoons dried butterfly pea flowers
1 teaspoon sliced fresh ginger
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
Juice of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon honey (optional, adjust to taste)
Instructions
1. Boil 500 ml water in a saucepan.
2. Add sliced ginger while boiling if using.
3. Remove from heat once boiling.
4. Add butterfly pea flowers and steep for 10 minutes.
5. Strain if a clear drink is preferred.
6. Stir in lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and honey.
7. Watch the color change from blue to purple.
8. Serve hot or over ice after letting it cool slightly.
