Description

Juicy, tender Slow Cooker Chicken Breasts with pantry spices and hands-off prep — perfect for meal prep, wraps, or a cozy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

4 boneless chicken breasts

½ cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

1. Pour chicken broth into the bottom of a crock pot.

2. Place chicken breasts into the crock pot.

3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and rub it on using a basting brush.

4. Mix seasonings in a bowl and sprinkle over the chicken, rubbing them in with a brush.

5. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

6. Remove and serve or shred for use in other recipes.

Notes

Use low-sodium chicken broth to control saltiness.

Always use a meat thermometer to ensure doneness.

Shred chicken easily using two forks, a hand mixer, or stand mixer.

For variety, swap in taco seasoning or fresh herbs like rosemary and thyme.

Perfect for tacos, wraps, sandwiches, or served whole with vegetables.
