Description

Texas Chocolate Pecan Pie is a gooey fudge-filled dessert topped with crunchy pecans. Perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas gatherings with family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale

1 (9-inch) deep dish prepared crust

1 (12oz) jar hot fudge sauce

3 large eggs

1/4 cup light brown sugar

1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon salt

3 cups chopped pecans

2/3 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place prepared crust on a foil-lined baking sheet.

2. Microwave hot fudge sauce (no lid or film) for about 40 seconds until pourable, then transfer to a large bowl.

3. Whisk in eggs, brown sugar, cream, vanilla, and salt until smooth.

4. Stir in mini chocolate chips and one-third of the pecans.

5. Pour filling into crust and sprinkle remaining pecans on top.

6. Bake for 40–45 minutes until center is firm but slightly jiggles.

7. Let pie cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use pecan halves on top for a decorative finish, though chopped pecans work fine.

Substitute dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.

Mini pies can be baked in muffin tins for 20–25 minutes.

Refrigerate pie after cooling; keeps 3–5 days when wrapped and stored.
