Ingredients
1 turkey (12–14 lbs)
2 cups stuffing
1 cup cranberry sauce
4 cups mixed vegetables
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional fresh herbs such as rosemary or thyme
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Season the turkey inside and out with salt and pepper, then fill it with stuffing.
3. Place it breast-side up in a roasting pan, cover with foil, and roast for 3 hours.
4. Remove foil during the final 30 minutes for browning.
5. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
6. Boil mixed vegetables until just tender, then drain and set aside.
7. In a bowl, combine pumpkin puree, heavy cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar.
8. Pour the pumpkin mixture into a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes alongside the turkey.
9. Serve turkey with cranberry sauce, the creamy pumpkin bake, and prepared vegetables.
